Poke is the Hawaiian invasion that Seattleites can’t get enough of, but do you know how to make your own? Learn the secrets of that perfectly-balanced plate of fresh fish and spices from TRACE Executive Chef Steven Ariel. A Hawaiian-native, Chef Steven will share his secrets on how to select and prepare the perfect fish, then pair it with fresh ingredients for DIY poke. Guests can create their own riff on this Hawaiian favorite, then enjoy it with some cold beer in a green bottle—an island combination as classic as loco moco & gravy.
Each participant will receive ingredients to make their own poke bowls as well as enjoy some additional poke varieties and beer to savor. Ticket price includes tutorial, food and alcohol. Class will be held in TRACE Restaurant and Bar.
